The Only Good Thing About February....
...is that we leave for vacation right in the middle of it. The middle of January through the middle of March have historically been difficult for me, but this year I've been particularly pathetic. The other day, for example, I wept in my car because, for the first time in recent memory, the sun coming through my window felt warm. I SO need this vacation.

I'm so glad you're going to get some sun. I'm going to go out and see the massive art installation in Central Park today because it's going to be almost 60 degrees I can't wait!
When do you go and when do you return?
I've HEARD about that art installation - the "gates," right?
We are wheels-up at around 8:30 on Thursday morning and will be back home around 6:00 on the 27th. Ten glorious days - I'm light-headed just thinking about it. Right now, it's 77.9 degrees there; that's nearly forty degrees warmer than here.
I'm going to try not to think about anything but shells, sand, sun, and enjoying my family for the whole time. No schoolwork, no internship crises, no schedule-keeping or bill-paying. How can people NOT take their vacations?!?
